Brownella Cottage Guided Ghost Tour

Step inside Brownella Cottage after dark for an evening exploring the history, mystery, and unexplained experiences that have surrounded the home for years.

On Friday, October 30th, join the Galion History Center for a special Guided Ghost Tour of Brownella Cottage, held on the eve of the anniversary of Bishop William Montgomery Brown's death on Halloween morning 1937.

This isn't your typical haunted-house experience. During the tour, we'll delve into the controversial life and history of Bishop Brown, the man who called Brownella Cottage home, while exploring the paranormal activity reported within its walls.

Along the way, guests will hear stories of unexplained encounters experienced by staff, visitors, and paranormal investigators throughout the years. We'll also share some of the evidence captured inside the Cottage, including photographs, video footage, and EVPs, bringing Brownella's reported hauntings to life as you stand in the very rooms where they occurred.

What better time to explore the darker side of Brownella's history than the night before its most infamous resident's Halloween death anniversary? 🕯️

Friday, October 30th at 7:00 p.m.
